- Sun Moon Lake is a fairly large lake located at 599, Jhongshan Rd., Yuchi Township, Nantou County, Taiwan. Fulong Beach is quite popular among the tourists because the waves are not too heavy in the summer, so it is safe for water sports like water surfing, canoeing, fishing, or cycling around the coast. If you visit this beach but do not bring your tools for water sports you do not need to worry, because this place provides water sports equipment rental facilities. Entrance fee for the beach is NT $100 and includes usage of park and beach facilities.
- Yangmingshan National Park is the third national park which was inaugurated by the government in 1985, and it is located in No. 1-20, Zhuzihu Road, Beitou District, Yangmingshan, Taipei City 11292, Taiwan. The national park is precisely located in the Mt. Yang Ming, which is the highest mountain in Taiwan. It’s full of rocky cliffs, mountain meadows, tranquil lakes, diverse vegetation, and beautiful cherry blossoms gardens. As you step into the garden, you will be greeted by a statue of the first president of Taiwan, Chiang Kai-shek. In this park, there are also ornamental fish ponds, river water runs and hot springs, and sites of Taiwanese history. This national park is also famous for hiking, as there are several hiking tracks. Some of them are Mt. Qixin and Tianmu Trail. There is no fee to enter the park.
