Question: Is Sky Rescue Evacuation still available?
Answer: Not for individual travelers. As of June 2, 2015 we were informed that Sky Rescue will no longer be sold as single policies. Existing policies will be honored, and those with current/paid policies will still be insured by the carrier. For groups on “shared plans” or nationalized healthcare, Sky Rescue is still a valid option for these groups, and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
The carrier, IMG, is strong and healthy and maintains their extensive network of doctors and hospitals overseas as well as a number of other plans we continue to offer and support.

Question: Continuing with the question/answer right above, does it include international flights heading for the U.S before arrival?
Answer: Yes, as long as long as the policy holder is in international waters or outside of the United States then they would have the AD&D coverage if a common carrier airplane were to have an accident on this policy.
